[If he's close to his door at ol 1418 he'll hear it before he might decide to peek through the window to see it. A faint tune, occasionally rising and falling in crescendo. The doorbell rings twice, all in good cheer and not too insistently.

[ He is but he has no idea to expect something fearsome. Is it fearsome? Is Christmas supposed to be fearsome?

When he opens the door, he half expects Agari to be there as well, ready to give points for the the performance. Because that's obviously what this is all about; karaoke. ]

Awww...but every clam has a pearl just waiting to be exposed to the salt water and plenty of merchants who sell it for a terrible price. Except in this case he'll be just fine, more independent and all that.

[ He sees no reason to just leave it in the mailbox as they work together and are really good friends, and so he hands the gift to Takasu personally.

It contains a set of bath bombs of various kinds (octopi included), as well as a bottle of sake. He knows how much Takasu likes his booze. ]
